About Us

Who are we?

PCC is an organisation formed by a group of people from the Central Coast of NSW with an interest in permaculture. We have many members - from diverse backgrounds - each with different permaculture experiences. There are no prerequisites needed to become a Group of PCC Membersmember. We usually have between 50 and 100 members at any time, all from a variety of backgrounds and with various levels of experience in permaculture, from novice to practitioner, from learner to teacher.

What do we do?

We educate, share experience and knowledge, and help develop a more sustainable approach to life via Permaculture. We hold Regular Information Evenings between Feb and Nov each year where we have a range of guest speakers and permaculture activities. We also hold Display such as running short courses and workshops, attending events and conducting visits among other things. We also have a range of Special Interest Groups.

Where do we do it?

Tuggerah Hall MapTuggerah Hall, Anzac Road, Tuggerah is our regular information evening venue. Come by bus, train, bicycle, foot, skateboard, scooter or car (we encourage car pooling). We are conveniently located very close to Tuggerah Railway Station. Details about locations of events are provided prior to occurrence.

When do we do it?

PCC meets on the third Tuesday of the month each February to November. Tuggerah Hall is open for members from approximately 6.30 pm (of course you early arrivers are welcome to help set up). We always start the evenings activities at 7.00pm sharp, to ensure members can get home consistently on time. Dates and timings for attendance at events are provided throughout the year via the newsletter, and as communicated at each Regular Information Evening.

How do you find out more?

If you want to find out more, get involved, find out where to start or what to do, learn more, or just want to meet like minded people, come along to one of our Regular Information Evenings. If you like what you see, you may wish to join as a member - you are welcome to get involved as a member. Click on the membership link above or browse the site to find out more.

Memberships and Costs

We usually have between 50 and 100 members at any one time. We keep membership costs to a bare minimum, in keeping with the permaculture philosophy. Click to find out our costs to become a PCC Group of Peoplemember. Our intention is to share cost saving ideas anyway, so we only aim to generate enough funds to help us do this.
