Permablitzes, Visits and Workshops
Workshops, visits and permablitzes were conducted by PCC. They are often held at a member's property, but they can be held anywhere really. Some examples are no dig gardens, Mandala gardens, frog ponds and so on.
A chook workshop was conducted by Vicky Gear at her Warnervale property. 19 participants joined in to learn how to introduce chooks into and manage them in a permaculture system.
The first PCC permablitz was at Pam Moss's property. Kelly Macindoe, Mick Joint, Jeanette Bunter and Pam installed a no dig garden to replace a patch of unproductive lawn. A permablitz to build a frog pond was held at Lisa Edwards's Property.
Soo, a PCC member in 2007, hosted a visit to his fish farm property. Soo converted an old sewer farm into a working fish farm enterprise. He also has a dream to convert the farm into an eco village based on permaculture principles.
