PCC Annual Picnic 2007
Each year PCC celebrates a year of permaculture success by holding an annual picnic. The venue for 2007 was Glenola Farm, which is Wyong Council owned land just past Yarramalong township.
Members are encouraged to attend and join in the traditional picnic games, such as cricket, sack races, three legged races and the like. Friendly competition only of course, not too many rules, and much fun to be had.
It has decent undercover seating and eating areas, a composting toilet and tank water. It is a very peacful, serene location. Council make it available free for use by community organisations such as ours.
But of course the main aim is to enjoy some good, wholesome permie prepared tucker. It is a chance to for members to show off the organic produce from their gardens, home prepared of couse.
