Garden Team

The Garden DrawingGarden Team is about helping members to help themselves with some type of permaculture related project, with the aim of establishing something productive and sustainable. Think of a home/garden type makeover show (backyard blitz for example) with a permaculture/sustainable theme. A Garden Team project may take the form of a Permablitz, or it may be a no dig garden or another approach to setting up a garden for a member.

Crafties

The SewingCrafties meet each Tuesday form 10.00am to 12.00pm. Members meet at each other's homes on a rotational basis. A different craft activity is undertaken each month. The aim of the group is to enable members to learn new crafts, practice crafts, and just get together to share ideas, knowledge and skills, and of course have a chat and a bit of fun.

Check out the Crafties Calendar, contact the or speak to the Committee to find out more.

Shows Team

TrailerIt doesn't get much easier to set up a display these days. PCC has a mobile, purpose built display trailer which is ready to go and easy to use. Hook up the trailer, drive to the show, open up the trailer and in a short while, the display is set up. Everything you need is there, and on completion, everything fits nicely back into place........too easy. If you are interested in helping out the Shows Team, (and receiving the odd free pass to the important shows we attend).

PCC Groups and Teams

To ensure PCC continues to meet the needs of members, the committee encourages those with a permaculture related special interest to join an existing team, or think about establishing a team/group of like minded members to pursue your particular permaculture interest. For example, we have a craft group, a display team and members often get together to help each other out via working bees and the like. It may even be a Permablitz (You Tube Link).
