Management Committee

The PCC Management Committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Nominations for management positions are called for each year at least two months before the AGM.

Financial Year

The financial year for PCC runs from 1 October to 30 September. Books are audited as at 30 September. Financial statements are presented to members at the AGM.

AGM

The AGM is held each year on the third Tuesday in November. An advert is placed in the public notices of the Express Advocate newspaper at least two months before hand.

Rules of Association

PCC has adopted the Model Rules for Incorporated Associations.

Membership

PCC financial members, as at the date of the AGM, are entitled to participate in the election process for the management committee.

Minutes

Minutes of AGMs, SGMs and Management Committee meetings are kept. These are available for review at each Information Evening (3rd Tuesday of the month, Feb - Nov).

Public Officer

The appointed is Christine Smith. Changes to this position are reported to Fair Trading via this form.

Insurance

PCC is not obliged to hold Public Liability Insurance but has chosen to do so. Insurance for other than public liability may be arranged from time to time.

Reporting Obligations

The Public Officer is required to lodge an annual report and financial statement with the NSW Department of Fair Trading.

PCC is an Incorporated Association. PCC members are not normally involved in the administration of these incorporation requirements as the Management Committee is responsible for maintaining compliance. Members are involved in the decision making process of PCC via attendance and voting at each Annual General Meeting (AGM) or Special General Meeting (SGM). Members also have opportunities to contribute to decision making by attending Regular Information Evenings or by getting involved in a PCC group.
