What is Permaculture?
Permaculture was introduced by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in 1978 when they published the book - Permaculture One. Permaculture is essentially a design system based on three ethics and a set of principles that when applied, can lead to much better environmental outcomes for the planet and all of it's inhabitants (human or otherwise), and ultimately, a truly sustainable future.
Permaculture is more than growing organic food, it is more than gardening, in fact it is much more than that. It is essentially a lifestyle choice - a way of thinking and being, of living in harmony with your surroundings.........it is ecologically sustainable and importantly - a simplistic, logical and practical approach to life.
